Okay – I am far from being a fan of Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi fan - but is Cindy Sheehan serious? What qualifications does she have to run against Speaker of the House Pelosi? Actually, what qualifications does she have to run for any political office? Am I missing something?

Although I agree that Cindy Sheehan is no match for Pelosi, I still agree with her reasons. For those of you who do not know who she is, Cindy Sheehan is the mother of Army soldier Casey Sheehan who was killed in Iraq in 2004. As of 2005 she has been going across the U.S. and all over the world protesting this President and his illegal war. This past May, she declared that she was going to stop her protests because it was taking a toll on her and had endured hatred from both sides. However, instead of “retiring”, she has come back and is now going after the House Speaker - Nancy Pelosi (San Francisco Congresswoman).

She believes that Pelosi needs to introduce articles of impeachment against President Bush. If this does not happen, she is going to run against Pelosi for Congress as she believes that she can do a better job. She also hopes that her announcement will encourage other people to run against their own Congress members who aren’t doing the job that they should be doing.

Again, I am not sure if she is the right person to run against Pelosi; however, I can see why she is doing it and completely agree with her. [If you want to read more about her, this is her website: Gold Star Famillies For Peace*:*Index]

I know exactly who Cindy Sheehan is. Back in Jan 2006, on her “world tour”, she stopped over in Caracas and sat around shooting the breeze with Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez. Nice company. Yeah – that’s who I want representing me on Capital Hill. Check out the wonderful picture of the two :

Cindy Sheehan is a sick mom who is disgracing her son by her ridiculous actions. She has threatened every Senator (Boxer and Feinstein) for NOT being liberal enough. The lady either needs a man or some therapy.
