Seems that during the “Blue Room” Live Lollapalooza Webcast this weekend, AT&T took it upon itself to censor Pearl Jam.

As found on the band's website, they following lines were cut: “George Bush, leave this world alone” (the second time it was sung); and “George Bush find yourself another home”.

This administration is out of control.

If a private corporation "took it upon itself" to censor someone, how is the "administration out of control"?

I'm sure AT&T didn't have 'political advertising' in it's contract with Pearl Jam when they signed the band up for the concert. A private concert run by a private business can censor whatever it wants. The only organization in this country that can't censor is the Federal Government. Companies can do whatever they like within legal limits when it comes to broadcasting.

So when ABC bleeps out profanity on Sunday evening movies, is that the administration out of control? Censorship has been around for quite some time, and will be for quite some time...as long as the government doesn't purposefully and illegally take part in it.

Let me ask you this. If a corporation hired a band to put on a concert for music sake, and not political sake, and at the end of the show...that band put the words "Hillary go away forever!" and that company censored those lyrics....would you be posting that the Clinton Campaign is "out of control"?
