The latest fun fact from the ACLU book 'o tricks:
The ACLU is sueing Hawaii for making random drug testing mandatory for teachers in the state. The drug testing came about after 6 teachers were found to be using last year. The ACLU says it is a violation of civil rights to test for drugs and that it doesn't keep people from using. Really? Could have fooled me. Even if the random drug testing dissuades only 1 teacher from doing drugs, it's still working isn't it? I think the rights of parents to trust the people they are leaving their children with is more important than the rights of teachers to not get busted for being addicts...don't you?
