New Hampshire Primary

Candidate Standings in New Hampshire As of 31 December poll:

Republican Candidates

McCain 29%
Romney 29%
Giuliani 12%
Huckabee 10%
Paul 7%
Hunter 2%
Thompson 2%
Someone else 1%
No opinion 8%

*38% of those questioned were still undecided. The above percentages are of those who were decided, leaning towards or had no opinion.

Democratic Candidates

Clinton 34%
Obama 30%
Edwards 17%
Richardson 5%
Biden 3% (no longer running as of 04 January)
Kucinich 2%
Dodd 0 (no longer running as of 04 January)
Gravel 0
Someone else 1%
No opinion 8%

On the Republican side - the fact that McCain did not do well in Iowa, but is in the running to win the NH Primary shows how he is more moderate than say Romney or Huckabee. I believe that overall, conservatives will view him being too "buddy-buddy" with the Liberals / Democrats. Therefore, I think he will win NH, but he will not get the ticket.

On the Democratic side I believe that Obama will take NH, with Clinton getting less that expected votes.
