Question Superbad . . . Great for the Box Office

For two weeks in a row, the teen comedy "Superbad" has topped the box office. After two weeks, it has made approximately $69k. In second place was the third installment to the Bourne franchise, "The Bourne Ultimatum", with a total of $185k after four weeks.

It seems that summer box office tickets have been great this year.

What has been your favorite movie of the summer so far?

Re: Superbad . . . Great for the Box Office

Superbad was by far the funniest movie I've seen this summer, but I'd have to say that my favorite movie was Transformers. Aside from a few military-related mistakes, I can tell the producers were making an effort to ensure accuracy along with entertainment (just not in that order per se).

Even though I'm about 6000 miles away from the nearest American box-office, I do have access to the newest movies (theater and video releases); and I am looking forward to a few. One such movie is "I Am Legend" with Will Smith, which takes place after an 'infection' turns every single human being into a vampire-esque creature...with Will Smith being the odd huMAN out...not being affected by the plague.
