Question Calling all RonPaul-ites

Okay - this poll just recently went up and Ron Paul already has 10 votes. However, no one has posted as to WHY they think he won. Can someone at least voice their opionion as to what points Rep Paul made that make him so impressive? Or, have people jumped on a bandwagon and just always vote for him?

Re: Who won the CNN/YouTube.com Debate Winner?

Considering Paul only got about three minutes of talk time out of a two hour debate, he did very well.

Each question they allowed him to answer was designed to make him look bad, but he knocked them all out of the park.

Re: Who won the CNN/YouTube.com Debate Winner?

Here you go. I'm vote number 51. I'm a former left-leaning liberal that is literally sick of the current administration. I believe in state's rights and a downsizing of the government. From Texas, regardless of what CNN tries to spin, the "conspiracy" highway is well into being planned. I expected the media to marginalize the candidate I support, and it happened. Why do I feel he won? Because he answered the questions, even the pointed ones, and made the best use of the meager time they gave the man. I was apathetic of the entire process after Bush stole the election, but no more...

Cool Re: Who won the CNN/YouTube.com Debate Winner?

I think Ron Paul One the Debate because he answered the most important questions for me. On Globalism leading to loss of liberties/sovereignty, war, and the economy. I like his answers the best. I would add that Ron Paul has undeniably the most support and videos on you tube than amy other candidate r or d, yet he got the least time durring debate tonight!

Re: Who won the CNN/YouTube.com Debate Winner?

As a lifelong Republican, I am finally seeing a Candidate in Ron Paul who espouses what a TRUE conservative is all about. Rep. Paul was the ONLY candidate on the stage tonight who actually answered the questions directly, without posturing, pandering or evading the question entirely.

JOhn McCain's attempt to misrepresent his foreign policy as 'Isolationist' was pathetic. For the Senator's information, isolationism is NOT what caused WWII! The onerous terms of the Versailles agreements imposed on Germany were what led to the rise of the supranationlist Nazi regime. Those terms, incidentally, were imposed by the same internationalists who now run US foreign policy! Perhaps the the 'CNN truth squad' should have pointed that out after the debate, instead of trying to say the Ron Paul Philadelphia rally was only 2000-strong, as opposed to the 5000 generally agreed upon by most of the unafilliated medai outlets.

Cool Re: Who won the CNN/YouTube.com Debate Winner?

I am also a Ronbot, and everytime you see a poll that Ron Paul is winning, we like to think about it as 'Revenge of the Nerds'. Why? Because we are America and we are sick and tired of being walked all over by the media, lobbiers, and big corporations. We want a real president, someone who we can trust, someone who maybe we dont agree with everything he says, but we know we can trust his character and his goals for our country. We've learned with the current and past administrations that campaign promises mean nothing. We want someone honest, someone we can trust never to lie to us, and Ron Paul is that man. That is why we faithfully stand behind him.

Can you say that about your beliefs, about your candidate?

We do, and dont look for us fading away - we're here to stay.

Re: Who won the CNN/YouTube.com Debate Winner?

Ron Paul won the debate because he is the only truely credible candidate of the bunch. Americans are tired of campaign promises that are forgotten immediately after the election. Ron Paul has a voting record that backs up his beliefs and he is a man of his word.

Re: Who won the CNN/YouTube.com Debate Winner?

I'm a ron Paul supporter but I voted for Fred Thompson . I think just like Ronald Reagan , Fred is good at the one-liners and witty rejoinders. But as far as the substance I totally support what Ron Paul says given the little exposure that he had. I was embarrased that he could't remeber who the kurds were but but then Ron has more life and vigor in him than most 72 yeear old I have ever met. Anyway the after debate Rally at Live Video - Justin.tv was soooo goood it made up for everything.

God bless Ron Paul.
