In an obvious attempt to buy votes from the American people, Hillary Clinton announced a plan that would provide $5000 for any new child born in the United States.

She did not go in to any specific details such as whether or not illegal aliens were going to get this "benefit". I imagine that in order to buy the Hispanic vote, they will be recipients of the money though. She also didn't go into details about how to pay for it. That is an obvious sign that she wants you and me to pay for it.

As far as I am concerned, this is wealth redistribution (socialism) in its most primitive form. Someone is going to take the money that I worked for and give it to someone that I never met. That is the definition of stealing.

Next she will announce that she is going to take private companies and federalize them. We've seen this before. Cuba, China, Venezuela, Bolivia, Russia. We know how great life is for the citizens of those countries.

If we continue down this path, will it be the same for us.

The number of births projected in 2008 is 4.1million, and then 4.5 million per year by 2013. That averages 4.3 million annual births in the US. That's $21.5 Billion per year that the American taxpayer will be shelling out to pay for the children of other people. And those of you who are familiar with the welfare state of America know that those who take handouts usually have the most kids.

So not only would we be paying for their food, healthcare, schooling, and for them to not work and provide a service to society. We'll now be paying them another $5000 per kid they pop out. Having a child is not a right of passage to other people's money....have we not learned from how broke our current system is?

I'm even more scared of Hillary than I was before. Socialism is the destroyer of civilizations, has always, and will always be that way. Wherever there's a handout, there are always people willing to not go to work to keep getting those handouts.

We already pay over a TRILLION dollars a year (yes you and me...the ones who actually work and pay taxes), for the welfare state of America...now we're going to 'nationalize' healthcare (under Hillary) and write checks to people who will now have even more motivation to pop out as many kids as humanly possible...

...and that $5000 won't go towards investment, college, or feeding those kids...it'll go the same place most welfare checks go. Drugs, alcohol, and big screen TVs. Ever been to a bad part of Anytown USA and seen a $5000 house with a $10,000 TV in it? Who do you think bought that TV? Your tax dollar did...

Way to think things through Hillary "Socialism-or-Bust" Clinton!

It makes me wonder what the true purpose for this plan is.

The way I see it, I work really hard for my money so that I can live a certain way, help my family when needed, save for retirement and I can give to causes that I believe in. I do not work in order to pay for someone else's kid. If that is going to be the case, then I want to be a part of the panel that decides who gets to have kids. I do not know about you, but I have seen my fair share of people who should NOT be parents. Why should they get any sort of monetary incentive to have more?
